Time lives in one tool. The person lives in another.
Payroll waits on a CSV. The manager approved the hours in a chat thread. The personnel file is a folder named Final_v3.
HRIS for growing US teams
Staffquorum is people-ops software for growing US employers: employee files, time punches with location and IP, PTO, onboarding, and manager tools. Built for HIPAA-minded teams who need access controls they can explain.
Pre-launch. No customer counts. No awards. Pricing is illustrative until we publish a quote.

The problem
Growing teams do not fail because they lack another dashboard. They fail because the person, the punch, and the policy do not share a record. Staffquorum is that record.
Payroll waits on a CSV. The manager approved the hours in a chat thread. The personnel file is a folder named Final_v3.
If someone clocked in from a parking lot two cities over, you find out after a wage complaint. Location and IP should sit on the punch, not in a later investigation.
Balances drift. Accruals are tribal knowledge. The person who knew the rule left last quarter.
Medical notes, SSNs, and offer letters sit next to the birthday list. HIPAA-minded employers need roles you can explain, not a hope that nobody forwards the sheet.
Product pillars
Job, site, manager, documents, and status in a single file. The directory is the system, not a report you export on Fridays.
Clock in and out with device, IP, and location on the punch. Exceptions stay visible to the manager who has to sign them.
PTO requests hit the right person. Balances follow the policy you set. No side spreadsheet for who is off Thursday.
Roles for operators, managers, and employees. Built for HIPAA-minded US employers: encryption, backups, and a trail of who opened what.
Employee time tracking
Staffquorum records where the clock-in happened and which IP it came from. Field teams, warehouses, and hybrid offices get the same rule: the punch is incomplete without the trail.

Feature grid
Name, job, site, manager, documents, and status sit on a single file. The directory is how you find someone — not a Friday export from payroll.
Clock in and out with device, source IP, and location on the punch. Exceptions stay visible to the manager who has to sign them.
Accrual rules, request workflows, and balances live on the person. Managers approve what they can see. Operators set a policy once.
Offer letters, handbooks, I-9 packets, and signed acknowledgements attach to the employee. Access follows the same roles as the rest of the product.
Day-one access, equipment, tax forms, and a first-week plan should not depend on whoever remembered the wiki. Offboarding is the same problem in reverse.
Managers get the queue they already run: time exceptions, leave requests, and who is out. Birthday dates stay on the file — not a company-wide calendar.
People ops sometimes needs a note that is not for the manager and not for the employee. Staffquorum keeps that space on the file — behind a role.
Employees need to know how to punch and request leave. Managers need to know how to close a week. Staffquorum puts a short tutorial and contextual help in the app.
Operators, managers, and employees do not share a login. Sensitive fields sit behind roles you can explain to counsel — and to the person whose file it is.
Private by default
People ops sometimes needs a sentence that is not for the team view. Staffquorum keeps that note on the file, behind a role, with a trail when someone opens it.
HR-only notesEmployee file

Prefers email before phone for leave follow-ups. Intermittent leave documentation is on the file — do not discuss in the manager queue.
Visible to operators. Hidden from Maya Chen (manager) and from Priya’s own view. Last opened by Elena Brooks · today 8:41 AM.
In-app help
How do I clock in?
Help in the product
Employees punch and request leave. Managers close a week. The help they need should sit on that screen. Replay the tutorial when someone new starts.
Help and tutorialHow it works
01
Add employees or import a roster. Set sites, managers, and employment type first so everything else has a home.
02
PTO rules, who can see pay data, who can edit a punch. Operators keep the keys. Managers get the work they actually do.
03
Clock in. Request leave. Finish onboarding tasks. The record updates without a chase email from HR.
04
Managers close time and leave. You can show counsel who changed a punch, from which IP, and when.
Who it is for
Staffquorum is for growing US employers who need one place for people, time, and leave. It is not payroll, not a clinic chart, and not a promise that we already run ten thousand global seats.
Dozens to a few hundred people. Enough complexity that a sheet fails, not so much that you want a two-year implementation.
An office, a yard, a warehouse, and remote roles. The clock has to work where the work is — with a trail.
One or two operators covering hiring, leave, and files. They need a record they can hand to the next person who sits down.
Approve hours, see who is out, get a private birthday note. They should not need a second career as an administrator.
