Help and tutorial

Guidance in the product, not a PDF nobody opens.

Employees need to know how to punch and request leave. Managers need to know how to close a week. Staffquorum puts a short tutorial and contextual help in the app.

Why it matters

If clock-in is the daily habit, the instructions should sit next to the button. A launch should not depend on a live walkthrough for every new supervisor.

In-app help covers the jobs people actually do: punch, request time off, acknowledge a document, finish an onboarding task, approve a queue item. A short tutorial can be replayed. Operators can point someone at a topic instead of rewriting the same email.

In-app help

How do I clock in?

  1. 1. Open Time on your phone or desk.
  2. 2. Tap In. Wait for the on-site or off-site note.
  3. 3. If the location looks wrong, tell your manager before the week closes.

On the record

What you get in Staffquorum.

  • A short, replayable tutorial for first login.
  • Contextual help on time, leave, and documents.
  • Language written for employees and managers, not only operators.
  • No requirement to sit through a webinar to punch in.
  • A place to send “how do I…?” without opening a new ticket system.

How it runs

A week in this workflow.

  1. 01

    First session

The tutorial shows the three actions most people need: punch, request leave, find a document.

  2. 02

    While they work

Help sits on the screen they are already on. They do not leave to hunt a handbook section.

  3. 03

    When someone new starts

They replay the tutorial. People ops does not re-teach the clock every Monday.

Who uses it

Built for the jobs you already have.

Hourly teams on phones

The first punch should be obvious. Help is a few sentences, not a course.

New managers

Approving time and leave is a weekly job. The tutorial matches that job.
