New-hire week
Offer, handbook, and I-9 should sit in Hire packet before day five — uploaded or signed — not in three inboxes.
Document library
The employee e-file is folders on the person: hire packet, I-9, policies, later uploads. Signed packets land there. That is the library. Not a company-wide document management suite.
Why it matters
Staffquorum’s document library is the employee e-file. Operators make folders on the record, upload a file, and keep signed packets next to them. Documents is the attachment story. E-sign is the signature. The library is where those files sit once they exist — folders you can open, uploads you can add, packets that already signed. This is not an enterprise DMS: no company-wide repository, no retention engine, no version trees across every policy in the org. Access follows the same roles as the rest of the product. Employees still open their own files from Me.

On the file
UploadFolders, uploads, and signed packets on Luis. Not a company-wide DMS.
On the record
How it runs
01
The library is the person. Luis’s folders are on Luis — not a company dump you search by filename.
02
Upload an I-9, drop a later policy ack, or let a signed packet land in Hire packet. The folder is how the next operator finds it.
03
Counsel asks. A site move happens. The e-file still has the folders. You do not reconstruct a shared drive.
Who uses it

Elena is out. The next person opens Luis’s file and sees Policies and I-9 & tax. They do not ask which drive is current.

Documents
Offer letters, handbooks, I-9 packets, and signed acknowledgements attach to the employee. Access follows the same roles as the rest of the product.
E-sign packets
People ops builds an onboarding packet from templates — offer letter, handbook, I-9 acknowledgement. The employee signs in Staffquorum. The file shows sent, signed, or still open, with a trail.
Onboarding and offboarding
Day-one access, equipment, tax forms, and a first-week plan should not depend on whoever remembered the wiki. Offboarding is the same problem in reverse.
Roles and access
Operators, managers, and employees do not share a login. Sensitive fields sit behind roles you can explain to counsel — and to the person whose file it is.
Tell us your headcount and what you run today. We will write back from hello@staffquorum.com when we can show you the product.
